A blast from the past

Anonymous information received by us today indicates that the cleansing department got more rules today along the same lines as back in July 2004. As well as taking down the illegal posters of city MP Nigel Griffiths they have also got to make sure certain parts of the city get some special treatment. This happened before when “The Leader”, Donald Anderson got his route to work given special attention, below is a press quote at the time:

A source in the cleansing department said: “We have been told by managers to make sure the route from Newington to the Bridges is clean every morning because Donald Anderson takes a bus to work and checks the streets. He should stay on the bus one day right to the other end of Princes Street to see what he thinks then.
