Nigel Griffiths the cheating labour MP from Edinburgh has decided not only to steal the rent money, put up illegal posters and have the bill to remove them paid by the city residents but now he seems to have made use of the domain name ‘parliament.to’ depriving Tonga of the domain for his snappy purposes. You can currently email him via the email address tellnigel@parliament.to (….stop cheating)
The archipelago of “The Friendly Islands” is in the South Pacific Ocean, about two-thirds of the way from Hawaii to New Zealand. Itwas united into a Polynesian kingdom in 1845. It became a constitutional monarchy in 1875 and a British protectorate in 1900. Tonga acquired its independence in 1970 and became a member of the Commonwealth of Nations. It remains the only monarchy in the Pacific. In the late 1990s during the dotcom boom, they sold their rights to the .to domain.
It now seems as though Griffiths has taken the domain parliament.to - kind of like the old days of colonisation.
Also from his website we notice that he was at the launch of the ‘Make Poverty History’ and cosily has his picture taken with TV personality June Sarpong. However, unlike this site, theiving Griffiths has failed to put the ‘Make Poverty History’ banner on his site. So it seems as though this slimeball likes Make Poverty History for a photo-op with a celebrity but when it comes to advertising the charity on his web site, that’s not allowed.
He is technical enough to colonise the .to domain but not technical enought to publicise the ‘Make Poverty History‘ campaign.
Of course the Labour party are well known cybersquatters. If you check out the domain www.michaelhowardmp.org.uk you will find out it is registered by the Labour Party. More info on this can be found here.
