Lothians Police Board give to their own

Our local police board have have agreed to a deal where the Chief Constable will get a £1.5 million pension fund on top of his £121,026 salary. The history of this police board is that they always look after themselves.

Readers will remember when the Convenor of the board ‘Teeth’ Milligan was taken to Ibrox and then travelled the city’s pubs before being driven home. The former deputy Chief Constable was also given a job by the city council without the job being advertised. Something that us mere mortals are not able to get.
