Liberal Democrats in cheating MP Nigel Griffiths‘ constituency have had to apologise to the Conservatives. A figures blunder in the Lib-Dems election bumph thrown through doors in the Edinburgh South constituency.
Of course, the Conservatives went way overboard:
Tory candidate Gavin Brown threatened to take action over claims by Lib Dem MSP Mike Pringle that the Conservatives polled only 6000 votes in the wards making up the new seat at the 2003 council elections.
It does of course does highlight the fact that there is not enough scrutiny on the election crap that all political parties are putting through our letterboxes.
In the same constituency, the dodgiest of all dodgy candidates in this election, the aforementioned Nigel Griffiths has had lied throughout the campaign, most recently when even the Kirk Moderator told him of his lies.
