SSP fails constituents in Edinburgh

Missing in Action There is a lot of talking in the Edinburgh East constituency in the run up to the election. Residents of the area are worried and getting pissed off that Catriona Grant their SSP carpetbagger does not seem to be out and about in their constituency however has the cheek to put her name on the ballot paper.

There is talk of non attendance at public meetings which is inexcusable and following the example of Edinburgh South’s thieving MP Nigel Griffiths. Surely this will give a red face to perma-tanned Tommy Sheridan and of course to the new leader Colin Fox.

Even the website (http://www.edinburgh-east-ssp.org/) where constituents would hope to go for information is as naked as a JayBird. The only thing on their website is what looks like the building Catriona is hiding in before polling day.

The proposer Neil Lumsden, seconder Peter Cannell and assentors Allan Crosbie, Ian Hood, Nicola McFarlane, Mark Donaldson, Richard Alexander, Michael Burks, Isobel Hart and the previous candidate Derek Durkin must be well pissed off.

We must not be too hard on Catriona for being a carpetbagger. Not one of the eight candidates looking for votes in Edinburgh East actually live in the constituency. Neither does the the local councillor Maureen ‘three houses’ Child.

UPDATE: We have been reliably informed that Maureen ‘three houses’ Child does actually live within the constituency.

Note to Catrona: Get your arse out of your swanky flat on the Cannongate and get it into the constituency.
