The council doesn’t care

We got news from a reader today that Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Bank of Scotland, The Bank of Scotland all have their flags at half mast either in sympathy with the recent bombings in London or possibly because of World War II day.

A couple of telephone calls to Edinburgh and a couple of drives to the city center show that ufortunately, our council have not taken their lead. The flags above the council have not been dropped. We think we should know why!
