Teflon Don has a posse!

Raver and his posse News comes to us that Teflon Don Anderson wasn’t on his own when he took advantage of the freebie at Murrayfield last week which we mentioned earlier today. It seems that our little-esteemed (or should that be little steamie) leader was unable to attend on his own so he took his posse along.

Among the freeloaders in the posse were Councillors Lesley Hinds, the soon to be exposed, Ian ‘two salaries from the City” Perry, a young girl who it is assumed is the leader’s daughter. Of course the rich and famous have no need to pay either when Teflon Don is a buddy – Multi-millionaire Tom Farmer looked proud to be in ‘da posse’ and also along for a freebie was well-known pop music loving Cardinal Keith O’Brien – he should surely know better. Of course that is only “the names” that were noticed, I wonder how many other liggers enjoyed free hospitality to “Make Poverty History”. Looking after them all was the city’s public safety manager, a certain Brian Sibbald.

I wonder what odds Ladbrokes would give on whether any of the posse used their mobiles to get a hold of tickets.

What did surprise me was that our well placed source didn’t mention Deputy Provost and ‘Festival Tzar’ Steve Cardownie. Maybe the rooms off the bar were busy that day because of the huge influx of visitors in need of some company in a strange city.

Donald, what was the contents of the call to the gig press office “So that’ll be me plus 10? 20? 30?” – And whilst telling us, let us know what your travel arrangements to get to the gig were – did you have the standard councillor transport of the chauffeur driven car with the blue flashing lights on top?
