The expensive desk move

With a take on the theme how many MSPs does it take to change a lightbulb comes how many civil servants does it take to move a desk and replace it with a filing cabinet.

Nationalist MSP Christine Grahame had this very problem and were told it had to be referred to parliament’s “Change Request Board”.

They filled in the form and waited four weeks without any news, but the committee, made up of four officials, has now approved the request.

There you have it! Four highly paid people make the decision and then the work is carried out. More than 4 weeks waiting time. Just how we all run our own businesses - NOT.
