In defence of the council, that might be to save paying overtime or weekend rates for the works staff.  On the other hand, if it were, then they wouldn&#8217;t be employing staff to go to George Street every morning and afternoon to MANUALLY raise the AUTOMATIC bollards they have inserted in the formerly beautiful Georgian new town street. Still, on the bright side, Cardownie&#8217;s left, and it looks like there are eyes on Anderson&#8217;s job, so it won&#8217;t be long before the Old Labour knives are out!   &#160; [...]</description>
