Leader held up - work put on hold

IDIOTIt seems that although the whole population of the city have to be held up for hours in roadworks on the way to and from work. The city center has been taken over by our elected officials and is failing. However, if our dear leader Teflon Don Anderson gets stuck in traffic because of roadworks, those roadworks are stopped.

Council leader Donald Anderson, who was caught up in the tailbacks himself, pledged there would be an investigation. He said: “The situation yesterday was particularly bad and we’ve asked our officials to look into what went wrong and report back to us.

A spokeswoman for the council said a decision to suspend the work was taken this morning and the council is working with the contractor to find a way of completing the project; either by partial lane closures or night work.

How is it possible for the HIGHLY PAID ‘experts’ who are doing this stuff, to constantly get it wrong. Maybe this person has hit the nail on the head:

Jamie MacDonald, 26, who works in the adjacent Torphichen Street, said: “I came into work about 8.30am and it was gridlock by then. The roads seem to have gone to pot since the congestion charge was knocked back.

Have Anderson and Burns no shame. The fact that they do not resign shows their excessive hunger for power.
