Council screws injured citizens

Stories of how the council continues to screw the citizens of the city are still coming in non-stop. The latest story is that the Council are keeping citizens waiting up to 5 years to settle the claims for residents who have been injured because the council are just not up to repairing the city’s roads and pavements.

City leaders today acknowledged there was a problem with the poor state of repair of many pavements, but said they were now spending millions of pounds trying to put that right.

The first question is, why have you allowed the pavements to get into such a condition in the last 20 years? The second question, why are you making these injured people wait up to 5 years to get their dues and why are you making them take their cases all the way through to appeals to get paid out after 3 years?
