Urgent Changes - and you are paying!

Our council leaders, when their backs are against the wall now announce further ‘urgent’ changes to the city centre nightmare that residents now face every day.

We don’t want changes - we want the £3.2 million central Edinburgh traffic management scheme scrapped and we want the heads of the people who proposed it and who implemented it. Transport leader Bumbling Andy Burns must go. We once again call for his resignation.

Already the council tax payers are being screwed because expected parking income has, in the council’s own words, plummeted.

£8 million pounds was wasted on the congestion charge referendum. When will the drain on council finances caused by Councillors stop. The last two major Andrew Burns projects have gone drastically wrong and has cost £11.2 million in capital expenses and added to that will be the costs of the changes and of course the cost of the plummeting parking income.

WHY IS BURNS STILL IN HIS JOB? Can at least one sitting Labour councillor please write to us and answer that question?
