1000 readers battle for council U-turn

Nearly 1000 readers have contacted the Evening News to lodge their support in just three days following the launch of our Get It Sorted campaign.

Some said the changes involved in the council’s Central Edinburgh Traffic Management (CETM) scheme made driving so frustrating they were now avoiding the city centre whenever possible.

We would remind readers that this deluge has only take place in the pat few days. Over the past few months here at Edinburgh Sucks dotCom we too have received almost 1,000 emails slating the city center nightmare from businesss owners, taxi drivers, citizens and even council workers.
