Tram Plan gives Labour bloody nose

The council’s ruling Labour party got yet another bloody nose in the last week thanks to the voters of the Murrayfield district. They were pushed into fourth place garnering only about a shocking 6% of the vote in the district.

What made matters worse and is telling for the future is that the appearance of Kristina Woolnough on the ballot paper. Kristina, who is stood on a single ticket item of stopping the trams managed to totally slash labour’s vote when she received DOUBLE the votes the lame duck labour candidate received.

Is this just the beginning of the end for the tram scheme which has not only cost the taxpayers millions but also cost many businesses in Edinburgh a lot of money because the council kleptocrats are adding a Tram Tax added to any developements they are proposing.

News reaching EdinburghSucks!com from an anonymous labour councillor was that Teflon Don Anderson warned all his councillors not to discuss the election or trams if approaced by members of the press - all on record queries were to be passed to the one workplace in Edinburgh where the workers are really overworked, the press office.
