The 8 questions in your posting of 7 February (”What is social inclusion in Craigmillar?”) are salient, far-reaching and must now be fully, properly and truthfully answered by the Labour-ruling administration at Edinburgh City Council, Holyrood and Westminster.

“Comments” and answers to these 8 questions (and many more) shall be forthcoming from:

Donald Anderson, Lesley Hinds, Eric Milligan, Jack O’Donnell (local cooncillor), Tom Aitchison, Jim Inch, Norma Cuthbertson et al at the Council;

Jack McConnell, Cathy Jamieson, Malcolm Chisholm, Johann Lamont, Margaret Curran, Susan Deacon (local MSP) et al at Holyrood;

Alastair Darling, Gordon Brown, Gavin Strang (local MP) et al at Westminster;

Brian Cavanagh (Chairman of Lothian Health Board);

Paddy Tomkins (Chief Constable of Lothian and Borders Police);

i.e. all those who have been associated / friendly with King Nolan (and his many cronies) over his decades-long rule in his own personal fiefdom of Craigmillar.

The above people, and several others i’m sure, are ALL undoubtedly guilty by association; for turning the proverbial blind eye; and for doing NOTHING to put an immediate stop to the corruption (allegedly), cronyism, nepotism and blatant conflicts of interest that was allowed to infect, poison and, ultimately, destroy the Greater Craigmillar Area during the past 3 decades of King Nolan’s misrule and dictatorship - originally elected as a Lothian Regional Councillor in 1976.

And you are ALL guilty too for your own obvious conflicts of interest, self-interest, self-protection and for protecting the many sacred cows who are, and have been, involved in the gross mismanagement of public funding in Craigmillar over several years.

Your “Comments” and answers to the above charges are eagerly anticipated … though i ain’t holding my breath.

It seems that the Craigmillar Gravy Train (First Class for King Nolan and his entourage of course) was allowed to just keep rolling on, and on, and on …… “All aboard”.

Keep up the sterling work. It is largely because of your dogged and tenacious efforts over the past year or more (especially since you started up EdSucks) that the Craigmillar/Nolan issue has reared its ugly head yet again and brought it to the wider attention of the Edinburgh/Scottish public.

Let’s hope that your tenacity and persistence results in Nolan and his henchmen getting the boot once and for all (asap); many other prominent heads rolling from the corridors of power at the Council, Holyrood and Westminster; and the major “Craigmillar Clean-Up” (and wholesale clear-out) you seek being finally achieved. It’s decades overdue after all.

Womanzone is a community Health project for women in Craigmillar. The project
has three main funders Corporate Services, Craigmillar Partnership(SIP)and NHS
Lothian.

The project has been given notice of a possible withdrawal of funding from
Corporate Services in April 2006 due to Womanzone apparently not meeting their
performance related targets.

Currently the Funding from the Craigmillar Partnership is being withheld along
with the Lismore Action Group and one other organisation, due to an
investigation of Paul Nolan.

In a previous funding panel meeting held aprox 2 weeks ago, Womanzone were
informed by a source who was present at this meeting that Paul Nolan had
pleaded with the panel to back the closure of Womanzone without reason nor
evidence. This action is not only disgraceful but illegal. Who does this man
think he is?

Womanzone are perfectly aware of the many conflicts of interests
Paul Nolan is involved with and Womanzone Pressure Group will fight this vile
man until the end.

The womanzone pressure group would like to respond to the comments made by ‘Interested Party’ in regards to their comments about the withdrawal of funding from the Womanzone project. The pressure group would like to note for the record that although we regard well meaning support from individuals and organisations, we do not however support or concur with the last paragraph stated by the ‘Interested Party’. The pressure group’s aims are to secure funding from the Council and matched funders and to raise awareness of the valued work of the Womanzone project however we do not adhere to political in-house fighting. Ive lived in the greater craigmillar all off my childhood. In Which it used to be a great place to live.Ive now moved out of that area because of this crap.Its been the same people cookin the books for a while now,There really needs to be a public inquiry about them.I only wish the community would STAND UP AND SPEAK UP for there community.If people dont there going to get away with it again.Its a joke in the greater craigmillar if your face fits then your ok.Patsy king has half off her family working in craigmillar childcare service which is also a joke.There are to many links between them all.Paul nolan, patsy king ,joanne smith,david walker ,mac wilkinson dirty people.We dont need peolpe like that kidding on they have there best intrest in craigmillar.Craigmillar childcare are paying some off there office staff off at the end of this month 31st march 2006.Oh but joanne smith maybe leaveing childcare at the end of the month.But joanne smith is ment to be takeing over as manger at Haywired at the start of april.Funny its all the same people that on the board there.Out of one job @into another.Thats why there has to be some kind of inquiry to stop all this happen once @ for all.

Too many good people left the area last year and Nolan and Cronies done nothing about it. Is it the case that unless cash is involved they don’t give a toss or are they all feart? I think a bit of both, let’s get them out once and for all!
