To save a measly £35,000 a year the council have decided to close the museums in the capital city of Scotland every Monday including Bank Holidays.
Having been shouting about tourism since coming to power they have now decided to screw the tourists, especially the Bank Holiday and long weekend tourists who visit from other parts of Scotland, the UK, Europe and Ireland to save a pittance compared to the millions of pounds that were spent on two referendums where their arses were well and truly walloped.
The reason the Council are trying to put the savings together is because, as a Labour council they have for decades been abusing the women who work for them in the city by not paying them an equal days pay for an equal day’s work.
Other plans to save money include a proposal to close libraries over a prolonged Christmas and New Year period, saving about £85,000 a week. cutting grants to arts groups and increasing charges for facilities such as sports pitches.
How do the people in the Council agree that what they do is joined up thinking?
