Conspiracy to defraud BT - the cunning plan

It seems that when the Children & Families Department have a Head of Strategy (Mike Rosendale) who continually takes part as Company Secretary in a massive £400,000 fraud on the citizens of Edinburgh and then goes waaaaaaayyy out of his way to cover it up and trash the whistleblower, it’s not surprising that his underlings are using all sorts of dodges to defraud not only the Council’s taxpayers but also their vendors.

EdinburghSucks.com has in it’s possession an email sent out last week by Susan Wilson who is the Community Learning and Development (CLD) Manager in South West Edinburgh (Wester Hailes) to all of the Senior Community Education Workers and other CLD managers asking them to take part in a plan to defraud BT.

Just before xmas the center was broken into and all the computers in the learning suite were vandalised. The computers are class A and about ot be replaced however BT won’t replace what isn’t there and we were looking at having to buy 12 new machines and losing out on the refresh programme.

However, we have come up with a cunning plan to replce the broken PC’s with secondhand gear which will then be replaced through the refresh. XXXX needs your help to find enough spares (from unclassified, B or D class) to make up 8 computers - so if your teams have any PC or Apple Mac equipment that is lying in a cupboard, on a desk or at home and unused please contact XXXX direct.

The legal advice we took late yesterday suggests that this ‘cunning plan’ constitutes a conspiracy to defraud BT and we are awaiting replies from BT’s press office and members of the BT board before contacting Lothian & Borders finest over at Fettes and ask them to have a peek.

What is most galling is that these are senior Children & Familes workers and they think nothing of breaking the law to meet their own needs. What sort of example is this giving to their clients and juniors throughout the city. This is what happens when a crook is placed in charge of strategy and obviously the strategy is fraud. This example together with the treatment of the whistleblower shows that it is pretty evident that the lying and fraud culture is institutionally ingrained.

Oh, and Sue’s co-conspirators (who all have Supervisory positions) are, in alphabetical order; Caroline Lamond, Christine Mackay (Mike Rosendale’s wife) David Hoy, David Thomson, Derek Suttie, Hazel McLeod, Linda Gibson, Martin Black, Pat Brechin, Rlitta Matheson, Ros Sutherland and Tommy McLean - all of whom are in the postition to supervise not only other Community Education workers but also volunteers in the community - indeed some of these people carry out investigations into voluntary groups if there is anything untoward about the voluntary group or questions to be answered - Don’t they Mr. Thomson? Talk about he pot calling the kettle black. In many cases these are the people guiding the people who are guiding our children.

We would be pleased to know which of the addressees took part in the “cunning plan” to become one of “Rosendale’s Fraudsters” and which declined because it is not only legally but morally corrupt and an abuse of a contract signed with a vendor who is supplying services in good faith - we know that there are at least some who refused to take part. We know it is falling on dead ears in the Council but WHEN DOES THE CORRUPTION STOP, THE INVESTIGATIONS START AND THE FIRINGS HAPPEN MR. INCH?

It is no wonder we are getting a huge amount of emails from disgruntled and scared staff within the Community Education department, Social Work Department. We predict that there will be a huge amount of whistleblowers soon but they won’t be doing it to the Council they will be doing it to the press. They are also totally disgusted with their union UNISON.

Nancy Ovens who used to be the head of Moray House’s School of Community Studies and a heroine to us at EdinburghSucks.com will be turning in her grave at the state of Community Education in Edinburgh today.
