“Interesting that Mr/Ms Thomas’ letter made it into the Evening News tonight.
AS the never-ending saga of the £440m edifice that is Follyrood continues to make us the laughing-stock of the world, here is a question for your readers to ponder over: do you think the 129 Parcel o’ Rogues’ great reluctance to set up temporary home in the old Royal High School in the centre of Edinburgh is anything to do with the fact that Joe Public may well muse: “So why didn’t they just set up the Parly there in the first place, as several sensible Scots recommended years ago, and save us all the many wasted millions as well as the great national shame and embarrassment?”
G Thomas Royal Circus, Edinburgh
We got the same letter and noticed that unfortunately the Evening News missed out the last paragraph:
What do you call 129 MSPs at the bottom of the North Sea? A bloody good start! Ditto Scottish lawyers … and many of the rogues in the Parly came from that unaccountable profession too, of course!
And some of our best friends are lawyers!
