Another EdinburghSucks.com detractor

It seems that on 29th March another EdinburghSucks.com detractor will launch with the advertising backing of new Edinburgh Talk Radio Station Talk107, Saffery Champness Accountants, Valvona & Crolla the oldest delicatessen and Italian wine merchant in Scotland and a web development company called bz8 dot biz.  We have informed Talk107, Valvona Crolla, and Saffery Champness just in case they are not aware that their names are associated with the site.  The site refers to EdinburghSucks as “websites against people involved and government officials” and “These websites contain some of the nastiest material possible to level at people.”

The detractor site in question can be found at www dot them-o dot com. A little digging has shown which initially seems to be a worthy site “exposing those who lie, cheat, pervert” is in fact owned by a man who lies, cheats and perverts - namely former Sauna campaigner and sex offender, Mike Anthony.  Mike Anthony is well documented throughout the newspapers and courts in the country, a potted history can be found on http://www.sexoffenderonline.com . 

The site which carries the first part of a three-part interview with, erm…. Mike Anthony is actually owned by, erm…. Mike Anthony as can be found out by looking at the whois entry for the domain (click here).  A quick search for the lady ‘journalist’ who carried out this professional interview with Anthony and really went in-depth:

During our following meetings, mace and minder disgarded, I came to know Mike Anthony the philosopher, met his many friends and delved deeply into his plans and pursuits. On occasion I stayed overnight at his home after evenings of good food and wine without a doubt in mind (he chose to sleep on the sofa).

This obviously highly placed journalist named “Anna Zhenska” apart from showing her unprofessionalism in her work by not only accepting “evenings of good food & wine but also staying with the person she is interviewing doesn’t even exist according to Google as you will see by clicking here.

Interestingly the web development company bz8 dot biz is also owned by Anthony which is proven by doing a quick check of the .biz whois server by clicking here.  Maybe the housing department of the City of Edinburgh council will have something to say about Mr. Anthony running a web development business from a rented council flat in Southhouse Square when sexoffenderonline.com links to this article where the council were actually paying his rent:

There is an active case at Edinburgh Sheriff Court in which the council is seeking repossession of the property and ejection of Mr Anthony. The authority refused to comment on the case today because it is ongoing.

However, Mr Anthony hit back today, claiming his rent had always been paid as housing benefit, and that the council was pursuing him for just £90, which it wrongly thinks he owes because of a miscalculation.

He is serving his own writ on the authority, accusing it of “abuse of process” and seeking £23,000 in compensation.

 Oh, how we wait on the launch!
