The team at EdinburghSucks.com have been contacted to give some publicity to a local Edinburgh event being organised by PoL Steele. ‘A snapography of Edinburgh’ is coming to a computer screen near you soon. We will also probably supply a prize in the competition but the details have yet to be worked out. In the meantime, read below and visit this year’s Edinburgh International Internet Festival at www.scotfestival.com.
We know a lot of Community Education dudes and dudettes read here, so maybe you can post the information in your Community Center.

P.S…
Some crank called ‘EC’ saw the info posted on your site about the festival and used the exhibition application form to enter the following message. As the message came with a fake e-mail address and was not an actual application… I feel I am within my rights to pass on the message to you in full.

statement:
Hi there,
good luck with the Festival, it sounds like a great idea and is sure to get people thinking and participating.
I am, however concerned that your festival is being used as a way to lend credibility to the person(s) who run this site: http://www.edinburghsucks.com/
I for one would be worried that my creative work was being linked to a site which harrasses and stalks, bullies and threatens. Edinburghsucks is generally destructive and defamatory in the extreme to individuals and groups.
the Basa, who runs the site a is a charlatan, liar and con-man who really should not be let anywhere near the internet.
This is my view, and you are entitled to make up your own mind. [added by EdinburghSucks.com]See http://www.sexoffenderonline.com for info an EdinburghSucks contributor dug up on me. You will notice that he has it well documented with court documents and newspaper articles. Unfortunately my made-up journalists who sleep at my house with me, don’t have that sort of credability. Feel free to visit http://www.edinburghsucks.com/2006/03/20/another-edinburghsuckscom-detractor/ for more info. [/added]
cheers,
EC
