The MSPs who voted overwhelmingly to ban smoking in public places forgot to tell us that their pensions are dependent on us smoking more.
It was revealed that The Holyrood Pension Scheme has more than £250,000 of public money invested in tobacco firms to boost their pensions. The price of some of the tobacco shares has trebled since 1999, helping to boost the fund to £13,995,308.
Pot, kettle and Glasshouses seem to come to mind.
