SNP “can’t get the frocks so we’re not coming”

Alyn_Smith.jpgAccording to our moles in Brussels, it would seem that our Edinburgh-based SNP MEP Alyn Smith has taken a hissy fit because the European Parliament will not let him attend the community council election in Craigmillar tomorrow wearing a hard hat and a bulletproof vest as a european monitor may be dressed in some parts of the world in extreme circumstances.

Smith was happy to blab to the Evening News on April 25th that “there was a need for independent observers given the controversy surrounding the election’s returning officer” however, now that the controversy is has become much bigger and wider, poor little Alyn, who can’t get a hard hat and bulletproof vest he’s decided he doesn’t want to play any more and screw the need for independent observers and screw the needs of his constituents in Craigmillar - and he’s off the the Orkneys.

Maybe if Mr. Smith would now get off his arse and start the enquiry into how Capacity Building Project and Craigmillar Childcare Services both funded by Scottish Executive and European Funding have used that funding to run the campaign for the Nolanites who have jokingly called themselves Craigmillar 1st (Aye, RIGHT) and have already told staff who live in the area that their jobs are in jeopardy if they don’t vote for their bosses.
