It seems that the council, namely Councillor Rev. Ewan Aitken and his director Roy ‘Jonah’ Jobson are fully in support of their employees taking their work home with them. In fact Cityconnect fraudster Alistar Frater who is currently employed as webmaster by Children & Families department and works on the pisspoor website myEdinburgh, has taken the ‘take work home’ to a new level.

The following websites are hosted on his personal server based at Telewest and doesn’t seem to follow council procedures:

It get’s even more interesting when you start to have a look at some of the sites in question and the information that is held by authorities on who owns the sites.

Capital City Partnership
Owned by Edinburgh City Council and hosted outside their normal hosting arrangements with Wabster, a company which has broken Companies Law by failing for 2 years to submit accounts and is in the process of being struck off. Why are Capital City Partnership using Wabster to host their website when this company is in the process of being struck off? How much has been paid to Wabster and has there been taxes paid on that income by Wabster? Has Frater declared that he is running this company to his employers namely, Ewan Aitken, Jonah Jobson & Frudster Rosendale.

Youth Services Edinburgh.org
Owned by City of Edinburgh Youth Services with a contact name of Alistar Frater and a contact address of Alistar Frater’s home address! How frightening is that. You will now begin to see what we mean about taking work home. (Whois information click here). Interestingly when you go to the site you see that Wabster are the brand in question on the page - not Youth Services Edinburgh at all. On the whois information page users will also see the description of the site which is “Wabster - ICT for the Community.” and the meta keywords which are “ict, edinburgh, community, scotland, internet, support, advice, email, web, website, communications, information”

Young Edinburgh.org
Owned by City of Edinburgh Council and hosted outside their normal hosting arrangements with Wabster, a company which has broken Companies Law by failing for 2 years to submit accounts and is in the process of being struck off. This site also has a contact address of Frater’s home and the contact name is Youth Services. (Whois information click here).

Adult Learing Link.org
Owned by Alister Frater at his home address. (Whois information click here). For readers who are interested in what Aldult Learning Link is, you may want to visit http://www.adultlearninglink.edin.org/. It is interesting that this Children & Families employee has seen fit to steal their name and register the domain name that would be useful for them through his illegal company Wabster. Adult Learning Link is funded primarily by the City of Edinburgh Council and they themselves believe that the Council did their website for them.

Childcare Partnership.org
Owned by Alistar Frater of Edinburgh Childcare Partnership. This time the address is The Cannon Mill, 1-3 Cannon Street. (Whois information click here). Unfortunately, The Edinburgh Childcare Partnership have their own website at http://www.edinburghchildcare.co.uk and they give their address as Room 1, Level 3, 7 Waterloo Place. We believe that the Cannon Street address is that of the former fraudsters known as Cityconnect.

West Edinburgh.net and Craigmillar.net
These are also both owned by Frater at his home address. He is using the myEdinburgh data and systems to build these sites.

The above small samples of the illegality that is taking place right under the noses of Counicllor Ewan Aitken and his Director Roy Jobson is frightening and the following is a small example of the questions that need to be answered by both men:

Why is a council employee personally hosting sites outside normal council guidelines and procedures?
Why is a council employee allowed to pass himself off as an employee of City of Edinburgh Youth Services?
Why is council employee allowed to pass himself off as an employee of Edinburgh Childcare Partnership?
Why are the council subcontracting Wabster, a company that is to be struck off, to host their websites?
Why is a council employee allowed to register domains for the Council using his home address?
Why was there no oversight on this council employee to allow him to do this?

Maybe whilst Ewan Aitken and Roy Jobson are in Africa trying to pick up tips on how to run an education department the Lord Provost, Lesley Hinds, will step in and order the much needed inquiry into all the fraudulent practices of Mike Rosendale, David Hillson, Alistar Frater and Pete McDougall at Cityconnect where all this stuff started. The need for an inquiry and immediate suspension of the aforementioned will be required to stop the future embarrassment of all of the outside directors of ELLP who are the “Who’s Who” of the Edinburgh educational establishment and have sat back on their laurels and watched the criminality unfold with their mouths tightly shut.
