Care Commision raids Craigmillar Childcare Services ( CCS )

We are told today that Craigmillar Childcare Services (CCS), one of the ‘community industries’ in Craigmillar that went for 6 seats on the local community council in what council leader Teflon Don Anderson called ‘electoral cleansing’ was raided on Friday by the Care Commission.  The organisation is run by Patsy King, the first cousin of former Craigmillar’s former waster of millions Paul Nolan and partner of Crapacity Building Project’s David Walker.  Mr. Nolan’s wife is also employed by the company.

Complaints about the financially troubled company which pulls in about half a million pounds a year in public funding have rolled into the Care Commission and are currently numbering about 32 for the year so far.

Craigmillar Childcare Services (CCS) are currently also under investigation by various agencies in Edinburgh, Scotland and Europe and have been having huge staffing problems with numerous staff members trying to get ‘whistleblower’ status so that they can lift the lid on the corruption surrounding the company where the bank have refused to pay salaries for months and cheques have had to be issued last minute to employees.

A highly placed source in the Care Commission informed EdSucks that their inspectors were met with anger by CCS heirarchy when questions were asked and left unanswered.

Locally, the company is known as being an employment vehicle for family and friends of the Craigmillar Cabal specificially Ms.King’s family.  Ms. King’s son Christopher, who was an employee recently changed his plea in a drunken assult against another pregnant member of staff.

Patsy King, who was until recently the Treasurer of Craigmillar Community Council, was booted out in the recent community council election, but took part in the electoral corruption for the appointment of groups to the Council to regain a seat.

There are also rumours that the Big Lottery Fund are also investigating lies given to them by CCS recently whilst investigating yet another complaint.
