Taken from today’s Evening News:

I READ about the nurse who is having to take her parking charge fight to the Scottish Parliament after she racked up a bill of £736. She had to take her car to work to pick up her son from his child minder. Then you’ve got the other story about the councillors who can take taxis with public money (News, June 8th). It just shows you why the council is so out of touch with ordinary folk.
