Last night at Craigmillar’s Community Council meeting the same three office bearers who were thrown out at the recent elections were installed back into their positions against the wishes of the community and using the publicly funded resources of Crapacity Building Project, Craigmillar Childcare Services and Haywired.

Installed against the wishes of the community were:

  • Chair: Paul Nolan – also Chair of the Funding Panel
  • Secretary: David Walker – In charge of Crapacity Building Project
  • Treasurer: Patsy King. – In charge of Craigmillar Childcare Services.

Appointed to the Board of Craigmillar Partnership who dole out the money to Crapacity Building Project, Craigmillar Childcare Services and Haywired are Paul Nolan and Michael McNulty – the same two that have been there for years and again against the wishes of the community as was proven at the ballot box.

For the uniniatiated that is Paul Nolan, his cousin and her partner.  Paul Nolan stood down and refused to run in the election, Patsy King ran in the election and did not win a place.

The Council, Parliaments both Scottish and UK must now stop this farce from proceeding.  The vast majority of the elected representatives had asked for this meeting to be postponed as many were on holiday but the nazis went ahead and installed their bent, criminal, publicly funded, social-excluding shits.

City councillors, MSPs, MEPs and MPs don’t tell us we live in a democracy because we fucking do not.  Last night in Craigmillar that fact was proven beyond all doubt.  All of you that represent Edinburgh must now get together as a matter of urgency and sort this matter out to the satisfaction of the people of Craigmillar.

The East of Scotland European Partnership (ESEP), Communities Scotland and the City Council must all IMMEDIATELY SUSUPEND all funding going into the area and send in administrators to take over all projects.

The people of Craigmillar went out to vote in May and their democratic wishes were ignored.  STOP ALL FUNDING NOW.

This affects every citizen in Edinburgh.  Democracy has ceased to exist for a large proportion of the city’s citizens.
