Rosendale contributed to Craigmillar Childcare Services Fiasco

For the third time in two years, Craigmillar Childcare Services who have received almost one million pounds in public funding is ready to go bust. The latest revelations come on the heel of senior officials of Children & Families meeting with Ms. King to try and sort out the latest crisis.

The project which run by Paul Nolan’s cousin Ms. Patsy King is a model of Social Exclusion and the subject of multiple inquiries including about 30 care commission complaints is currently telling employees that they cannot direct-deposit their salaries into the bank and to collect cheques from the office and it will be first come first served at the bank.

Further research into their problems throws up a well-known name to regular readers of EdinburghSucks.com, namely, Mike Rosendale.

It seems that at the Community Services Scrutiny Panel on 21st January 2003 that Fraudster Rosendale (who at that time was covering up for the Cityconnect & Wabster Krew) said that the financial problems that Craigmillar Childcare Services had were now all gone and he thought that it was all tickety-boo.

Mike Rosendale stressed that the officials were comfortable that the organisation was taking steps to ensure its finances were stabilised, and that it remained viable. Although the Office Bearers had still to be appointed, the existing Chair and Project Co-ordinator remained in place. In the light of this, and the monthly data being provided, he had no difficulty recommending the early release of SIP grant to the organisation. He gave assurances that regular reports would be submitted to the Executive, and that attendance levels would be monitored as part of this ongoing review.

So it seems that fiddling money at Cityconnect is not the only dodgy organisation that Fraudster Rosendale has under his belt, he also has Craigmillar Childcare Services.

The dodgy Ms. King recently stood to keep her place on the community council but was thrown out by the electorate with most of the other members of the Nolan cabal. Board members of Craigmillar Childcare Services include King’s partner the equally dodgy David Walker, who heads up the same equally socially exclusive Crapacity Building Project in Craigmillar, and of course Paul Nolan - her cousin. Nice cosy family business it seems - and with friends as high as Rosendale, it would seem that the holidays must be good as well.
