Pete McDougall blowing the story to TES

News into edinburghsucks.com is that one of Rosendale’s fraudsters, the jokingly called “Digital Champion”, Pete McDougall is in talks with Times Education Supplement to spill the beans on the whole Cityconnect fiasco and has been telling friends that a lot of senior councillors are ‘going down’.

We hear that the Editor of TES has left space in this upcoming issue for McDougall’s story which although closes editorially on a Wednesday, really the story must be tied down by midday today.

McDougall is treading a fine line because he was so intricately involved with the project that it could be the taking down of him as well and although the joke around Children & Families is “How do you know when Pete McDougall is lying? – His lips are moving” if he tells any lies here he could end up with major defamation suits.

Another problem McDougall has is his lawbreaking since leaving Cityconnect which is being well documented by independent agencies including law enforcement.

Interestingly, McDougall says ’senior councillors’ are going down, one would have thought that Rosendale, Jobson  and Hillson would also be going down but when it all comes out in the wash they too will probably be ejected.  Could this be huge problems for one of the leadership contenders and of course our very own Lord Provost, Lesley Hinds?

Questions will also be asked whether the upcoming whistleblower report from Jim Inch’s department will now not be the whitewash that is expected.
