Cllr. Jack “Daniels” O’Donnell retiring for a drive

Councillor Jack “Daniels” O’Donnell is going to make more changes than most people thought when he steps down as councillor and takes the money and runs as fast as he can from the life of fraud, greed, cronyism that he has called his life for the past couple of decades.

Not only will this pathetic community robber not be standing for his Craigmillar council seat but word into us is that he will not even be frequenting the bars he has done on a daily basis for the past 20 years at the public’s expense.

What is now jokingly called Craigmillar’s representative on the city council has found himself a new job thanks to his former labour colleague who defected to the SNP.  Hic O’Daniels has secured himself a driving job with Steve “thug” Cardownie’s taxi firm.  In fact, he is currently doing it part-time according to his register of interests which used to show him as being employed by the ficticious Jewel Business Services which may have been used to funnel any bungs he may have received - or maybe they’ve just dried up because of his intimate involvement with Paul Nolan.

We can hear the phone calls now:  Hello, can I have a taxi please, and for god’s sake don’t send that thieving drunk O’Donnell.
