Mackay, Bunty Backhander and Worm Munro do it the Craigmillar Way

With Leith Community Centre taking 3,000 members through their doors every week and a management committee who have more than 100 groups using their centre weekly, it seems that this type of efficiency is not what is required by the most bent in our council.

Rosendale’s current squeeze, Christine Mackay, triple-full-time Bunty Backhander and Gordon Munro (known by his constituents as ‘Worm’ want to take the power into their own arms and use it for their own political aims and stuff the community.

Just as has been done by Nolan’s cabal in Craigmillar - Bunty, Worm and Mackay organised a secret meeting of Leith community groups last week to take over the Leith Community Centre from the Management Committee but they forgot to invite the community. The people who turned up at the meeting were all council officials and Children and Families gophers because as we mentioned neither the community nor the Management Committee were actually invited - only the people whose jobs depended on being yes men.

This is a case of the Council doing things the Craigmillar way. Change policy for a community, don’t tell the community nor take their views, ensure that only paid staff, who are paid by the community set the community policy. What happened to paid staff who are supposed to carry out the wishes of the community.

At their “blue sky” meeting, they decided that Leith Community Centre requires a multi-cultural toilet?
