Incredibly dodgy disgraced ex-councillor, the un-electable Paul Nolan is up to his old tricks in Craigmillar again.
It seems that the vast majority of the democratically elected community counciillors in the area are get again unhappy at his antics. This time he has decided to represent them at a conference titled “An Agenda for Regeneration in Scotland: Making it Work for Communities” being held at the SECC in Glasgow on 28th November hosted by Holyrood magazine.
What has upset the community councillors who were voted in by their community in the highest turnout ever in a community council election in Scotland is that they didn’t even know the conference was going on never mind that Nolan was not only attending on their behalf but also speaking at the conference as their chairperson.
The session Nolan is speaking at is titled “Involvement in Development” - locals are wondering if Mr. Nolan is going to talk about all the different methods of how to accept the brown envelope.
Community councillors are also worried about the obvious deviousness of their Secretary and ultra-Nolanite David Walker because he should be brining this information to them to fulfill his position. However, accusations of minute tampering and witholding of information are rife in the meetings.
Conference organisers should check their mailbox - there are an awful lot of pissed-off community councillors who think you should be doing your due dilligence. Speaking about mail, note to Nolan: It is “off my lawn.” not “of my lawn.”
