Documented proof of the CityConnect/Wabster Cover-up

We have been looking for a while for documentary evidence to show the massive conflicts of interested between ELLP/City Connet/Wabster where the senior Council official, David Hillson joined the criminal venture called Wabster Internet Portals (WabsterIP), later called Wabster. The board of Wabster consisited of Fraudster Rosendale’s bum-fluff Hillson, another council employee Alistar Frater and former jokingly called Digital Inclusion Champion but most often called Desperate Dan, Pete McDougall.  Wabster’s current information from companies house currently reads:

This is a company that is being run by rogue council employees which we have been told has been given contracts and service level agreements from the Council.  In fact we are told that Hillson was sitting in the City Connect offices requesting services and service level agreements from Wabster and going back to his Council offices and signing off on them as the Council official responsible.  Is this not FRAUD?

The auditor’s report for City Connect which was also run by the same people plus Fraudster Mike Rosendale in July 2004 stated:

BASIS OF OPINION

We planned and performed our audit so as to obtain all the information and explanations which we considered necessary in order to provide us with sufficient evidence to give reasonable assurance that the financial statements are free from material misstatement, whether caused by fraud or other irregularity or error. However, the evidence available to us was limited because there was no system of control over the expenditure of £265,126 on the Cityconnect project on which we could rely, which could provide us with assurance that the expenditure was properly incurred either for that project or for the general objects of the charity itself.

This whole fiasco was so serious that a member of the board wrote to McDougall telling him to cease interest in Wabster.  The letter is below:

McDougall-25-08-04.gif

McDougall listens to nobody.  He thinks he is always right.  He did what he normally does when cornered – he ignored the letter.  The following letter was then dispatched a couple of weeks later:

McDougall-10-09-04.gif

Again the letter was ignored and the following letter was sent:

McDougall-16-09-04.gif

All this time, another member of the Board, Fraudster Mike Rosendale just sat back and watched with his bum-fluf, David Hillson signing all of the taxpayer’s money away.  Also on the Board were Rasputin Ewan Aitken and Sow’s Ear Lord Provost who failed to win nomination to Susan Deacon’s seat, Lesley Hinds.  What were these three board members doing whilst fraud was taking place under their noses and the whistleblower had already informed them of what was going on.

Just to prove that Hillson and Rosendale were in on the Fraud, after the letter above was sent to McDougall, Hillson and Frater (both council employees to date) joined him on stage at SETT (the Scottish Learning Festival) 2004 and below you will see the first slide of their presentation.  Notice all three of them are happy to boast about their fraudulent connection with Wabster because the Wabster logo is proudly displayed on each slide in the presentation which we have.
