Last year Edinburgh for the first time saw electoral cleansing taking part in the Craigmillar Community Council elections which not only had the highest turnout in any community council election in the UK but also had EU monitors fly in from Brussells because of the underhand tricks being used by the (disgraced ex-councillor, Paul) Nolan cabal. The whole drastic story was covered here on EdSucks and in other local publications including the Evening News.
The architect of the the electoral cleansing in conjunction with Nolan and other disgraced ex-councillor David Brown was poverty industry freeloader Mac Wilkinson who was at the time employed by Craigmillar Partnership to oversee the millions of European Funds dished out in the area. Wilkinson is also adviser to the Board of Craigmillar Childcare Services with Nolan being Chair and the whole organisation is run by Nolan’s Cousin Patsy King with Wilkinson’s son also on the payroll according to our sources.
Finally when the European money ran out and there was no job for Wilkinson, Nolan threw a party for this slimeball who had robbed the people of Craigmillar of democracy. The party was held at the Jack Kane Centre last Friday at 1pm. True to form for the Nolan cabal, the community that were robbed of their democratic rights were not of course invited.
The most frightening part of this party other than the funding probably came from public funds was the guest list that turned up.
Eric “Maroon Baloon” Milligan our previous Lord Provost, one of the City Baillie’s – all the way from Pilton, Billy Fitzpatrick, and there was even a presentation was made by Portobello’s useless and gormless councillor Lawrence Marshall. Where it gets even worse, it was the city leader at the time Donald “Teflon Don” Anderson who in an interview to the Evening News called the saga “electoral cleansing” and that same City Council’s former Lord Provost and the Convener of Lothian Electoral Joint Committee decided to turn up and get free drinks at a deprived community’s expense to hail the co-architect of said electoral cleansing.
In March this year, the Craigmillar electoral cleansing will end up in the Court of Session as the Council are finally getting their fingers out of their arses and having the crooked cabal’s actions undone and the democratic wish of the people of Craigmillar installed back on to the community.
People in the new Craigmillar/Portobello ward will have the gormless Lawrence Marshall on their ballot paper in May – he is obviously bent – don’t vote for him. The same goes for the people of Pilton – you will have the current Convenor of Lothaian Electoral Joint Committee who oversaw what his council leader called “electoral cleansing” and he went to the leaving do of the co-architect – again, obviously bent – no need to vote for him. With regards to the Maroon Baloon – that w~nker would go to the opening of a crisp packet – anyone who is stupid enough to vote for him after his abuses of his position as Chair of the Lothian Police Board should get what comes to them.
It says a lot for the Labour Party in Edinburgh when Nolan and Wilkinson still have such pulling power and can get the party lumeneries to turn up and say good things about them.Â
Everyone at EdSucks is totally disgusted at this new low from our Labour councillors. Still, it gives ammunition to the people who want them out.
