Elizabeth Maginnis IS bent, and we have the proof

It seems our much used cartoon of Bunty Backhander was right on the mark and things will now start crumbling, but not necessarily starting with the Waterfront Project.

We have been forwarded a document which finally proves that long-time Labour Councillor Elizabeth Maginnis (or Bunty Backhander as we call her) IS bent. The document was today was also sent by the authors to the Social Work Department Contracts Officer, Lawrie Davidson of the Care Commission, the Investigations Team of the Office of the Scottish Charities Regulator, The Big Lottery Fund (as funders) and Malcolm Chisholm MSP is a detailed breakdown of the fraud and cover-up that has been and is still taking place in the Pilton Elderly Project which Maginnis manages as a full-time employee.

If you are reading this on Thursday, be sure that we will not only pass the information to any journalist that asks for it but will be on the phone and meeting with journalists to promote the evidence.

This will come at a bad time for Maginnis (also known as “The Nolan of the North”) who is hoping to be re-elected at the polls next week as a councillor. It also does not look good for fellow Labour candidate and City Baillie William (Billy) Fitzpatrick. This evidence will dash any hopes of Labour regaining any of the seats when we publish it. It may also mean that Maginnis will end up in Corton Vale and the end of the investigations that now will take place when the information is released. Finally it will show the people of Edinburgh just what types of cover-ups the sitting Labour council oversee.

We would also like a copy of the 3 page covering letter you sent to one person who is not mentioned above.

What we have here is a corrupt official, manipulating, abusing and using the system at the expense of the most vulnerable in our society, at one turn able to put a tear in her eye and play the victim and on the other treat nearly everyone around her with contempt even to the stage of bragging she is squeaky clean to the community.
