Meadowbank councillor Ian (snottery nose) Perry forgot his hankie

An interesting picture appears on the excellent Edinburgh At Risk (EAR) site ( http://www.EdinburghAtRisk.org).

The picture is taken inside the full council meeting at the City Chambers when the Save Meadowbank ( http://www.savemeadowbank.org/ ) deputation are speaking at the chambers and not only shows the leader of the council Ewan ‘Rasputin’ Aitken extremely pissed off being told the facts as they are, not the facts as he would like them to be - but it also shows Meadowbank’s very own councillor (front right) is far to busy to listen to his constituents. He seems to be totally involved with spending his time digging a fingerful of snot out of his nose.  Whether he ended up eating it is beyond our knowledge.

Look:

Maybe it is because of this type of behaviour in front of his constituents that he was moved to the south of the city - or maybe it is just that the council have caused so much congestion there, the air quality will allow him to put his finger to use more frequently.

Also the councillor on the left in the middle, is that not Kingsley Thomas - is he sticking his fingers up at the deputation or is it just our eyes?  You judge for yourself.
