How the Lothian MSP’s fare for local biz

Well we have a handful of the Lothians MSP contenders’ leaflets dropped through doors. Just how are they going to help business in Edinburgh.

Let’s check the leaflets to see if they support Lothian businesses enough to give them the leaflet printing job. So in no particular order:

Tango Tommy’s Solidarity - Not only did Tango not bother to get the leaflets printed in the Lothians, he never bothered getting them printed in Scotland. Nottingham is the place for oor Tommy. Wonder if he picked them up whilst travelling back from that dirty club in Manchester!
Scottish Senior Citizens Unity Party - Obviously no OAPs running the printing presses in the Lothians. The SSCUP went out to East Kilbride for the print job.
UKIP Scotland - Well, at least they printed them themselves. They are closest so far by having them done in Dalgety Bay, Fife.
SNP - Ooohhh - thick card from the Scottish Nose Pickers, obviously splashing out a bit with the cash rolling in. So which nice Lothians business got the job? Aaaahhhh - it’s Glasgow where the SNP put their business.
BNP - The racist sh1ts - Glasgow.
Scottish Voice - Archie Stirling and his party that will be bringing real change to Scottish politics. Unfortunately their printing is done, would you believe it, with the same company as Tango Tommy in Nottingham - d’ya think Tommy Picked theirs up at the same time?
Greens - Well we would assume that the Greens wouldn’t want to move all these leaflets from afar by awful carbon-polluting cars. Oh aye they would - Again, Glasgow is the preferred place - but they are printed on 100% recycled paper - Last election leaflets perchance?
SSP - CoCo Fox and his bretheren. Surely he will come up trumps for Lothian printers - Power to the People and all that stuff. Nah, they do it the weegie way as well. Glasgow another winner.
Adam Lyal’s Witchery Tour Party - Finally we have come up trumps. Printed by Ivanhoe Printing Co Ltd, Riverside Works, Eskmills, Musselburgh - Telephone 0131 665 8444. Well done Adam.
Scottish Christian Party - From the party who answered “Well there are different types of Christians and he’s not one of us” when commented to that the City has been run by a Christian minister for months now - where did they go - can it be a second Lothian printer………. Nah… Jesus works in mysterious ways but in the ways of printing the Scottish Christian Party finds that Elland in West Yorkshire does God’s work best.
Conservatives - surely there must be a Tory voting printer giving the funny handshake to get the job….. Nope….. The tories and their instamatic pictures go all the way to Glasgow for the print jobs.

So there we have it. The only one with a Lothians print job is Adam Lyal’s Witchery Tour Party - so here is their communication:

Donate his annual salary above the minimum wage to three local charities of his choice

Take his place in the debating chamber with a white face and black cloak. (This pledge alone is worth a vote!)

Ewan says, “This is no joke. I’ve built up good support for my campaign, and if the word continues to spread, it’s conceivable I’ll be the first pale-faced phantom to be elected to the Scottish Parliament.” Go on, give a ghost a chance!

So there you have it. Not one real party had their Lothian leaflets printed in the Lothians. Forget the party vote vote for the independents. In this instance I would class Adam Lyal’s Witchery Tour Party as an Independent.
