In Volume II we bring you yet another snippet from the huge dossier we received from concerned staff members at the Pilton Elderly Project:

The manager, Elizabeth (’Bunty Backhander’) Maginnis, vindictively made a member of staff redundant then employed another member of staff for hte same post - running the ‘Neighbourhood Group’ - breaching employment laws, I believe. The post was not advertised breaching equial opportunities legislation and stipulations for publicly funded podies. The new member of staff was one of the unqualified and untrained people previously mentioned who replaced qualified staff! How is the post being funded? How much is the staff member being paid? How much money is being siphoned off to be used elsewhere?

The manager, Elizabeth (’Bunty Backhander’) Maginnis, takes time off to fulfil her duties as an Edinburgh Councillor. The manager also has her own consultancy business and oftenworks on this on Pilton Elderly Project time while other staff are unable to get their TOIL (time off in lieu) they are due. The manager just states “we are too busy”. Also, staff are loosing contracted holidays, (HT) Deputy Manager (LW) Transport Supervisor again, the manager stating that the project is just too busy when ultimately it is down to the manager’s poor organisational skills and mismanagement.

and how does she spend this much needed money for vulnerable people…….

The manager, Elizabeth (’Bunty Backhander’) Maginnis sanctioned, after PEP’s merger with the Six Circle Project, a significant proportion of the funds to run the previous Si Circle services to bring PEP staff up to full-time status and to totally overhaul PEP’s computer system. The system was a sufficiently good system for the project’s needs It created an unnecessary surplus of quality computing equipment that the manager decided to give away FOR FREE rather than seek reasonable reimbursement to reduce project costs.

Whilst you are waiting, if you live in the Forth ward, give some serious thought to who you are voting for in the upcoming council election. If only 10% of what we are publishing is true, (and we truly believe it is 100%), then Bunty should resign forthwith. Another question to be asked is, did Bailie Fitzpatrick know what was going on. As it was in his ward he should have known - but we are told that he keeps his head in the sand - he has said multiple times, mostly after having had quite a skinful, that Maginnis is a criminial - so why is he running with her. He has to answer the questions as well and has to go.

Use your vote for the only independent candidate on the ballot paper. Vote Fred Marinello and give him the chance to end the corruption.
