Now for Volume IV of the ultra-corrupt Elizabeth (Bunty Backhander) Maginnis PEP/Muirhouse Six Circle Project scam. This of course is not the only scam that Bunty has on the cooker.

We are getting the initial documents in yet another one later on this week which may well become our first podcast before passing it on to Lothian & Borders Police. Unfortunately for Bunty, one of her inner circle hates her as much as her constituents and is willing to give EdSucks the scoop in the hope that co-operating will keep her out of prison - If certain other sitting councillors are elected, they may not go to prison but expect resignations and the first bi-elections quite soon we are told:

Anyhoo…. on with the matter at hand:

About half of the Pilton Elderly Project (PEP) Management Committee does not know whats going on. It’s only now that they are beginning to ask questions of each other as the manager runs the project her way through sub-committee groups and meetings.

It has got to the stage now that the staff are disillusioned, disorientated and the most vulnerable Service Users such as the members of the Neigbourhood Group are no longer being equiped to deal with their issues.

At least two members from the Neighbourhood Group with major learning difficulties are being used as voluntary escorts working on PEP buses transporting elderly people. The risk factor alone makes this inappropriate. Again, this is being carried out with the full knowledge of the manager (Councillor Elizabeth ‘Bunty Backhander’ Maginnis).

The Manager (Councillor Elizabeth ‘Bunty Backhander’ Maginnis) misleads funders, external agencies, customers and the community over the number of volunteers who work for hte project stating 84. The true figure is more like a third of that number. Volunteers who are no longer working for the project are kept on the books to inflate the figures. The general quality of the volunteers again, unfortunately, can only be described as poor and the project is truggling to get volunteers to carry out it’s services of transport, work/social groups. This is a possible reason why members with major learing difficulties are working on buses as voluntary escorts.
