Labour’s Lesley Hinds, who Tom Pontin famously said looked like a “ear” who told everyone and their sister that she was very happy to serve just one term as Lord Provost of the City. But on election day it comes out that her word as as good as her dress sense and…..

is thought to have been garnering support behind the scenes for another term after losing out on a bid to stand for the Scottish Parliament.

What’s new here. She tried in Edinburgh East & Musselburgh to get selected as the prospective MSP but even the Labour party gave her a huge body swerve and threw her own on her famous sow’s ear. She didn’t even get selected for the ward she lives in and had to do the party thing and become another labour carpetbagger.

Now a few months later she is scared to give up the job because her long term fight with Elizabeth ‘Bunty Backhander’ Maginnis may mean that if the voters of the Forth ward are stupid enough to put Bunty back in, then she will still have one over on her.

We call on all voters in Edinburgh to do the sensible thing and VOTE FOR INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES (BELOW) and rid the city of the scum who masquerade themselves through the party system as representatives.
