Failed politician Norman “nae pals” Murray, the former East Lothian council leader, hammered labour parliamentary candidate in Edinburgh East & Musselburgh and friend of Paul Nolan has now managed to get himself a lawyer in the latest episode of the losing labour party throwing their dummies out of the pram for the electorate having the gall to deselect them.
Mr Murray, who stood down at last month’s elections and was defeated as Labour candidate in Edinburgh East & Musselburgh, claimed the reported remarks by SNP’s Roger Knox had tarnished his reputation.
A newspaper report quoted Mr Knox claiming that money for entertaining at the racecourse had come from Musselburgh’s Common Good Fund. Mr Murray was a member of the now-defunct Musselburgh Joint Racing Committee.
Let’s see if this is more huffing and puffing by the losers or will ‘nae pals’ actually have the courage of his convictions.
