Our reliable sources tell us that the company orginally set up by council employees so that they could sell council Intellectual Property Rights and take the cash for themselves was struck off on 3rd May be HM Revenue and Customs.
Wabster, run by council employees David Hillson, Alistar Frater and seconded slimeball Peter McDougall received a huge amount of service level agreements (SLA) with council companies and departments including CLAN, ELLP, Capital City Partnership, Childcare Partnership and City Connect. Huge amounts of cash were flowing their way, however, they never paid once penny of tax on the cash nor indeed registered their accounts at Companies House as is the law.Â
News just in to EdSucks towers is that the council Monitoring Officer and Director of Corporate Services who is supposed to make sure this sort of stuff doesn’t happen has just ordered another cover-up.
Source in xxxx states Jim Inch has ordered cover up over Wabster. Inch has told staff not to give any Councillor information on the above and has taken away all files.
The Council knows how much Wabster made because there is an audit trail. They stated in their report to councillors that they did not know if Hillson had made any material gain because he had broken Company House procedures and not submitted accounts. Why does Jim Inch not tell Custom and Excise how much the council paid David Hillson through Wabster?
Hillson, who was then, and still is a senior official in the Children & Families department founded the company, awarded the said company contracts for areas of work and budgets he is responsible for and totally ignored council tendering procedures. He was awarding council contracts to himself with the obvious approval of his line manager and ELLP company secretary Mike “the Fraudster” Rosendale.
Previous administration senior councillors knew exactly what they were doing at least after the fact but have also covered it up because of legal cases both in the past and present. Head of Children & Families at the time, Ewan Aitken is totally up-to-date on all the fraud as is one time ‘sows ear’ Lord Provost Lesley Hinds. Both sat with Fraudster Rosendale on the board of ELLP when the whole sorry mess broke with the whistleblower emails which have since been proven to be 100% correct.
When in opposition, the Liberal Democrats pushed this and other issues through many series’ of questions at the full council meetings. Hopefully now, that they are in power they will take the required steps to let the honest members of Children & Families know that they will not be ruled by an autocratic fraudster for much longer. Jenny Dawe has known this sorrid tale for years and in opposition together with Gordon MacKenzie put the right questions getting no real answers so now that they are both on the Executive things will get moving.
The elected members of the council must also now force Jim Inch to release all papers to councillors so that the P45′s can be made up toot-sweet.
