News into EdSucks towers is that The Fraudster formerly known as Rosendale is telling all and any councillor that will listen that scrapping CLD will help enormously because “the workers in the field are not producing the goods”. In fact it seems that Children & Families are in complete turmoil and the policy changes depending what is written on Edinburgh Sucks.

We insinuated earlier on August 11th that we knew who the whilstleblower’s replacement was going to be. We have now been informed that that person “was withdrawn from the whistleblower’s job because of your post”. That was probably a good move for the Rosendales because if we published Martin Black’s history in the department (which we have) then all would have not looked rosy in the department. In fact, why is he still employed anyway?

Now, Rosendale is currently Head of Neighbourhood Services within the council which was a promotion from his previous position as Head of Strategy for Children and Familes. This may seem a bit simplistic to us real workers, but if there was an £8 million defecit in Children & Families, doesn’t that mean the blame as well as being laid at the door of long-time chief of the department, Ewan ‘Rasputin’ Aitken, his replacement Andrew Burns but also his Head of Strategy. If Rosendale’s strategy was to see the department spend £8 million more than they were supposed to then WHY DOES HE STILL HAVE A JOB?

It is well known that Rosendale’s department never had a development plan despite insisting that all other departments and centres produced one.

It is now time to start investigating how the new council have done in the job so far. They have had just over 100 days. The FibDems spent many a full council meeting asking questions about Rosendale and the City Connect project because they knew that there was massive fraud to the tune of £400,000 and they wanted to get to the bottom of it. So why have they not done that now they are in power. Why are they taking information from this gross and profound liar? Why is he still in his position and why is his wife still in her position and threatening to “sack any worker posting on Edin Sucks” as well as checking all telephone bills to see if she can figure out who is doing all the leaking. The ruling administration have a lot of questions to answer and we expect the answers to be a lot more forthcoming than the previous finger-dipping labour administration.

Maybe because the Lib Dems were so close with Labour in the last parliamentary sessions they are willing to step back from making the council’s labour administration and their thugs like Rosendale unaccountable.
