It seems that one of our high profile councillors is indeed in crisis - none other than Elizabeth ‘Bunty Backhander’ Maginnis. Thought to be currently holidaying in Spain according to her blog, it also seems the Forth councillor, who only got in at the last election by the slime that surrounds her huge body, had previous knowledge of the impending and unfolding crisis.
EdSucks has been informed that Maginnis has also resigned as Chair of the North Edinburgh Labour Party and another chair was hastily installed without following Labour party guidelines where an extraordinary general meeting would be called to vote in a new chair. Further, yesterday in a shock move in her constituency just prior the Evening News publishing yet another damning story on the councillors shady dealings, her mother resigned from the community council with immediate effect.
There is still a lot more to come out from the Waterfront. We believe from well-placed sources that there are huge gaps in the paperwork which is being gone over with a fine toothcomb. This may point to either a shredding party or removal of files before the election from the ultra-secretative organisation - if it was a shredding party lets hope they they used their hugely-expensive bicycles to power the shredder and to help the organisation boast about it’s green credentials and they didn’t spend thousands on entertainment for the party as was their forte.
Still to also come is questions to current councillor Ian Perry and former councillor Billy Fitzpatrick who shared board positions with Bunty. What do they know, when did they know it, what did they do about it, what did they get out of it?
More to come.
More to come……
