Bunty Backhander jumps the gun

pigs.gifBunty Backhander may have gotten herself in deeper shyte today by leaking and releasing information which a lot of people regard as “commercially sensitive” to the Council owned company Waterfront Edinburgh Limited.

Maginnis is so desperate to have a story in the newspapers which isn’t tarring her with having her nose so far in the trough it is covering her head, that she decided to leak the Scottish Executives plans to place a new tourist attraction on the Waterfront containing a “treasure trove of Scottish history”.  Sources have informed all at EdSucks towers that they are fuming with the information leaked in today’s paper because there was to be a joint launch of the project which has now been put in jeopardy and local people are demanding to know whether the “hundreds of jobs” are going to benefit local people as they haven’t until now.

Interestingly, in the article neither the Scottish Executive nor Waterfront Edinburgh deigned to comment.   However, it is believed that the 100,000 estimated visitors Bunty boasts about is a vast over-estimate.

The question now open to the public is, did Elizabeth Maginnis use her position as Councillor and the information she gleaned as past Chair of the Waterfront to leak commercially sensitive information for personal reasons to get a good story about her in the Evening News?

We will find out soon.
