Lib-Dem

It was them - and they ran away. Until now!

The council’s mouthpiece on Health, Social Care and Housing has been bumping his gums and it seems that only crap is coming out.

Councillor Paul Edie, Health, Social Care and Housing Leader, said: “Edinburgh’s City Centre is thriving, with residents and visitors flocking to the area to shop, work and enjoy its vibrant nightlife. This flourishing area requires a particular investment in policing to ensure that people can go about their business in peace and safety. We are delighted to see that our additional funding, for 18 police officers, together with the highly successful partnership working, has already had such a positive impact on crime levels in this area.”

Now councillor Eadie, when you got your freebie Edinburgh Film Festival Platinum pass this year because you were a councillor, someone should have told you that what was on the screen was fiction and when you moved outside the cinema it was real life.  It was not your party’s nor the SNP’s additional funding.  It was the previous Labour administration’s.  You bloody liar.

Your administration has (with cause in our opinion) hammered the last administration for the mess they left the city in, but for you to have the bare-faced cheek to claim the credit for something good, when (according to Andrew Burns here) you and your group voted against it is nothing short of hypocrisy.

Freeloading twat!  God help the people receiving social care if this is the conduct of the person who is supposed to be championing those poor people.  We are watching you Eadie.
