It seems that the new broom is still stuck unwrapped in the corner since the SNP/Lib-Dem rabble moved in and hasn’t made it to clean out the trash in Children & Families.
As all staff members will know, there is a hiring freeze in the Community Learning & Development (CLD) section of Children & Families. Fortunately, it seems if you shag the boss you get special consideration.
Well known Edinburgh fraudster, Mike Rosendale has insisted that the job of Neighbourhood Manager in North Edinburgh which will cost the city’s taxpayers around 88 grand will be filled despite refusing to fill posts which are frozen and have a direct affect on our children’s education.
So why does this post have to be filled against policy and before the front line jobs which would help our children get a better education? Is it because the front-runner for the job is in fact Fraudster Rosendale’s wife, non other than Christine Mackay?
A quick glance at the condensed CV we have been sent does leave a lot of questons:
We hear that Rosendale has changed the Council’s recruitment policy in the instance of North Edinburgh Neighbourhood Manager. His new policy seems to be that instead of phoning Human Resources to arrange the interview of appropriate staff, underlings are now told to phone his PA.
MacKay currently works in North Edinburgh as Community Learning and Development Manager where she has managed to alienate all staff and bullies anyone who speaks out. She threatens staff that if she catches anyone speaking to a Councillor that she will report them to Mike.
We are told the lady is known to repeatedly smear Steve Cardownie and his ‘Taxi Drivers’ as she calls them and informs certain staff of confidential senior management information which obviously comes from her husband. Showing that he has a tight grip on the service we also hear she has informed staff that Mike has to constantly keep the departmental Director, Gillian Tee, right.
Staff are in uproar and close to full dissent in the Department. Rosendale has lost all support and staff are openly challenging the Fraudster.
