Big Hoose for council employee
Yet more examples come out showing how the largest department in the Council and the one with the biggest budget and biggest overspend is still totally out of control despite a new Director and new Executive Member. This goes to prove that the posts ad infinitum we have ran about how the department is run is indeed the truth.
The latest complete shambles comes in today’s Evening Chip Paper where we find that one of their staff who is employed as a Youth Worker is allowed to live in “The Mansion” but the community, who the building is being paid for to serve don’t even get a look-in.
It seems that the community are once again totally ignored by the Children & Families department no matter who is running it.
Most frightening in the story is that the council raised “considerable concern” about the arrangement as far back as 2005 when Ewan Aitken was in charge and since then we have had Andrew Burns and currently have Marilyne MacLaren. Why does it take three years to open a community centre to the community and tell your employee that he shouldn’t be staying there.

The section of Children and Families this comes under is of course that of Neighbourhood Services which has Fraudster Rosendale firmly in charge.
We have been promised more information on the whole situation around “The Mansion” - it is not as clear-cut as the article linked below makes out.
