Go back and look at the CLD Review – it’s wrong!
It seems our “exclusive” earlier this week on the slashing of front-line services in Community Learning Development (CLD) section of Children & Familes is really doing the rounds on the internet and in print publications in the city. Opposition politicians in the Council are up in arms that they have to come to rely on EdSucks towers to find out what they should be finding out in committee.
John Ross, service conditions convenor of the toothless union known as Unison (and also a member of the Council’s own management we have been informed) has joined the council and also shown his total disgregard for our city’s communities. In his quote to the Evening News he totally forgets the thousands and thousands of people who stand to be affected by the Rosendale’s Crew recommended slashing but threatens those same people with more disruption because the only thing Unison is worried about is Unison members and screw the city’s families who use community centres.
The current ultra-secretative Executive Member at Children & Families, Marilyne MacLaren, is now facing industrial action from her own employees, her Director, Gillian Tee is backing down from her promises late last year where she said she was going to look at things with common sense has now been proved to be a better politician than official with her actions and the Fraudster Rosendale Crew who came up with the report are still firmly in situ with the new Fib-Dem led council who attacked Rosendale’s actions when in opposition now seem to be close to shagging him when in power.
EdSucks has been reporting ad infinitum on the extremely low moral within Children and Families almost getting to the point of open mutiny. Unfortunately our new council and new Director seem to be happy to be dictated to by a few thugs within their department.
We have already suggested (in this post) a solution for saving the 850K. No doubt it will be ignored.
If there are any other MArple’s in C&F willing to dish the dirt on the ground in the department, you know how to contact us.
