Rosendale thinks she is “CLUELESS”

It seems our premature release of the CLD review paper has caused all sorts of problems for the rulers of Children & Families. Our own Fraudster Rosendale is furious and blaming the politicians for Edinburgh Sucks publishing it and then the Evening News doing a follow-up saying the Unison, Edinburgh’s own toothless union, are getting slightly warm around the collar.

Politicians coming in for extra kicks in the chukkies include (in alphabetical order) Aitken, Burns and MacLaren.

The reason Rosendale has been smearing Aitken and Burns is because supposedly it is their fault that the Children and Families budget was overspent. Of course on this occasion he is 100% technically right - they were the big boys taking the big bucks to be the head honchos of the whole kit and kaboodle.

Rosendale tells his inner circle, and a few others, that Aitken demanded that projects be funded in his own patch knowing that there was no money in the pot. Councillor Burns, according to the in-house fraudster, is just useless. According to our sources it seems that Burns, the former head of Children & Families, has obviously annoyed Rosendale recently because he is repeatedly smearing him.

However, the best information is what Rosendale is saying about his current boss and what she will do. Executive Member Councillor Mrs. Marilyne MacLaren, the lady who is in charge of the biggest budget in the council (and the biggest defecit) our informant tells us will go through with the cuts to community centres. The reason for this, according to fraudster Rosendale is because “she is clueless and depends on him for support and direction.” The information goes on on…. “MacLaren has agreed to his cuts despite some of the administration stating their concern and he will not be made to change the report.”

As our contacts tell us “What is the point Basa of pretending to consult with the public when Rosendale is adamant that the cuts will stand.” Indeed, what is the point.

The other stuff that Rosendale has been coming out with will concern all Community Centre Management Committees. They are a thing of the past according to Rosendale. They are “A group of upstarts that have their own agenda.” So Management Committee members, when you are going out on a cold night to make sure that things are happening in your community when you have paid the community charge for, just remember what Rosendale, the Head of Community Learning and Development and former Head of Strategy for Children & Families is saying about you…… Upstarts! I wonder whether he will say that when the Council end up in court soon and he is called to the witness box?

Staff morale is at rock bottom and it is open warfare in the department. However it appears to staff that Rosendale can bully staff , organise smearing of individuals that have stood up to him and rubbish Councillors and continue on a daily basis destroying the councils reputation without any comeback. The staff would like to know why.

It seems to us in EdSucks towers that that old Marilyne wifey is definitely not up to the job. She might have been good for the Fib-Dems whilst in opposition doing a bit of sniping on the sidelines but it seems that her performance, together with her Director’s, Gillian Tee has been less than inspiring since May. We’ll close the schools - no we won’t. We’ll stop the building of a School in Craigmillar - No we won’t. The most uninspiring thing about the whole saga of the new administration seems to be that when they have disagreements they always have them in the full glare of publicity in the Evening Chip Paper - just how prattish is that? The new administration are beginning to look like a room full of “for Foulkes sakes“.
