Council to admit mistakes in adoption fiasco

The council will today in the Evening Chip Paper admit that mistakes were made in their handling of the recent fiasco in the adoption of a young child in the city where grandparents were shoved aside by officials in a disgusting way.

We are told that the city’s head social worker, Michelle Miller will make a partial climb down admitting errors. Unfortunately we have don’t know exactly what the extent of the climb down will be.

However, if there is any climb down at all, and if the grandparents are not happy with it, then we believe that there should be an independent investigation into the whole handling of the case so that future social workers are not put into a situation like this again.

If heads have to roll, then heads have to roll.
